Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

Do you have a way to receive prayer requests?

The best way to submit a prayer request is through the Prayer Request Form. Once the request is received, John, Brandi and the Belt Ministries team will begin agreeing with you for God’s miraculous power to invade your circumstance.

Where are John and Brandi ministering this year?

All of John and Brandi’s public events can be found on the Events Page.

Giving Questions

What is a ministry partner?

A Ministry Partner is someone committed to join with Belt Ministries both financially and as a prayer covering. If you would like to learn more information visit the Giving Page.

Will I get a yearly statement for tax purposes?

Yes. Every January, we email our end-of-year statements. To ensure you receive your statement, please make sure your current email address is listed on your account.

Is my giving tax-deductible?

Charitable donations to Belt Ministries are tax-deductible. Event registration and purchase of products are not tax-deductible. Belt Ministries was originally formed as an Ohio Corporation in 2018 and received a public charity exemption under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code so that all charitable contributions through the end of 2019 were fully tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. Because of our move to Oklahoma, Belt Ministries incorporated as a nonprofit corporation in Oklahoma and is operating under this new corporation as of August 1, 2019. Assets from the Ohio entity were transferred to our new Oklahoma nonprofit corporation. Because of operating under the new Oklahoma nonprofit corporation, we will likely need to again file for our tax exemption with the Internal Revenue Service which we plan to do within the time allowed by the IRS. Upon a favorable determination of exemption, the exemption is expected to be retroactive to the date of formation (August 2019). We fully expect all donations to be tax deductible charitable contributions as Belt Ministries (Oklahoma) is organized and operated as tax-exempt organization as described by section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. In any event, your contribution will be used exclusively for the charitable and tax-exempt purposes of Belt Ministries.

Event Questions

Can I pray for people at or around the alter?

Belt Ministries has a pre-selected ministry team with distinct badges. To create a safe environment, they are the only ones released to minister to people at the altar during times of altar ministry.

Can I bring my child/children to your event?

We love having children with us. We recommend sitting on an aisle near an exit in case you need to step out.

Will the speaking schedule be posted online?

We do not release the speaking schedule because our primary goal is connecting with God. We have some of the best speakers in the world but want Jesus to be the focus of everyone in attendance.

How do I register for an upcoming event?

Visit the Events Page and choose the event you would like to register for or call 405-345-1110.
